Founding Partners
Jolae Fuller has her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and
is a registered member of The College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Psychological Associate.
Jolae provides individual, couple and family counselling to adults.
She aims to assist clients with issues such as trauma
processing, relationship conflict resolution, depression and anxiety,
parenting questions and skills, self-esteem, crisis, stress and
burnout management, separation and divorce issues, and adult children
of dysfunctional families. Jolae also works with individuals (court-ordered or volunteer)
doing anger management through The Anger Resolution Program on OntarioTM(TARPO).
Jessica Schwey is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counselors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. She earned her Masters degree through the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Prior to that, Jessica received degrees from Concordia University (BFA, Theatre/Music) and York University (BA Honours, Psychology). Jessica has also studied with Isis Canada (Expressive Arts Therapy) and the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine (Doctor of Homeopathy).
In 2003 Jessica Co-founded The Centre for Health and Anger Management which provides both general counseling and anger management programs for both court mandated and volunteer clients through The Anger Resolution Program of OntarioTM (TARPO).
Jessica enjoys working with couples, families and individuals of all ages. She has helped clients deal with issues such as marital and family conflicts, parenting, anxiety, stress, pain and anger management. Jessica's strength in dealing with trauma and depression, combined with her compassion and empathy, provides her clients with the confidence and strength needed during those times that often seem unmanageable.
Executive Coordinator
Celeste Martin Celeste comes to The Centre for Health and Anger Management with twenty years of business acumen. She has gained invaluable experience at reputed companies such as Revlon International, Noxzema, Hilroy, and was also Founder and CEO of Ms. Communications. Her areas of expertise include business development and operations, sales, marketing, negotiating, human resources and networking. Since joining, Celeste not only acts as a liaison between The Centre For Health and the community, but also heads up PR and marketing.
Additionally, Celeste is certified in True Colours and Personality Dimensions. She has developed and facilitated workshops for both groups and individuals in the corporate world, private sector, educational field and with youth since 2000.
Therapists
Barry Burrows, MSc MC CHt CCC is an experienced therapist trained in occupational and counselling psychology.
He holds the designation Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and is a member
of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists, the Canadian Psychological Association.
His areas of interest include client-centred, solution-focussed brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnotherapy, with individuals,
couples, and families.
Barry's supportive and engaging style encourages a strong working relationship with clients as they deal with challenges in life transitions,
relationships, and the workplace. He also works with clients having difficulties with sexual issues, habit change, challenges to esteem and self-concept,
and who are experiencing excessive stress at work or at home. Parenting skills training, communications, assertiveness, anger management, Transactional Analysis,
and conflict resolution approaches are within Barry's areas of competency. In addition, he has over 16 years experience in organizational settings involving change
initiatives, group decision-making, training and development, and executive coaching. He is also certified in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and in suicide intervention.
Barry's personal interests include the martial arts, Yang Style Taiji, and meditation
Linda Sciberas has
her Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a member of
the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists
and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
Linda provides individual and couple counselling
to adolescents and adults. Her specific areas of interest include
assisting clients with anger management, interpersonal difficulties,
depression, anxiety, stress managements and chronic pain. In addition
to her formal education and training Linda has extensive experience
in the field of health and wellness, particularly in the area of
therapeutic movement, relaxation, breathing techniques and meditation.
Linda also has experience providing psycho-educational and psycho-vocational
assessments
Thomson Scarlett completed his Masters degree in Mental Health Counselling from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. He is a certified member of the Canadian Counselling Association and a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists.
Thomson’s fifteen years of experience derives from the social service industry where he has worked with such populations as mentally challenged, autistic, psychiatric and other dual diagnosed individuals. Thomson has also attended professional workshops in couples
counselling, anxiety disorders, anger management, autism and behaviour management.
Thomson’s areas of interest include depression, anxiety, communication skills, relationship counselling, anger management and self-esteem. Thomson addresses these areas of mental health in one-on-one sessions and couples therapy.
